Prepare tools such as a Phillips screwdriver, needle-nose pliers, and retaining ring pliers. It is recommended to wear insulated gloves.
Disassembly of the Housing and Fasteners
Remove the electric hammer handle and housing screws, marking the screw positions according to the disassembly order for reassembly.
Remove the cap or protective cover assembly; some models require removing the drill bit retaining ring first (use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the retaining ring).
Switch Component Handling
Locate the switch area and observe the fixing method (screws or snaps).
Screw-fixed type: Use a screwdriver to remove the fixing screws; Snap-fixed type: Use pliers to gently press the snap protrusion to separate the switch.
When separating the switch from the circuit board connection wires, use tweezers to clamp the base of the plug and pull it out vertically to avoid pulling the cables.
Key Considerations
Avoid forceful operations during disassembly to prevent plastic snaps from breaking.
Small parts such as steel balls and springs should be collected using a magnetic tool to prevent loss.
